Hello people! It was my first time at NU Sentral and I was amazed how big is the place. Kinda reminds me of KLIA 2. It was 9 pm and I was looking for a place to chill and drink some green tea. I went up to the top floor and I found Ozen Zanmai.
The outside view
They have a wide range of menus so I decided not to take the picture, or in this case, pictures.
Feel Japanese already
This place looked similar to Kiku Zakura but only much cheaper. Here I attached some of its interior design.
Dining area. Love the privacy.
You can find this at many Japanese restaurants where the food station is facing the dining table.
Perfect for meeting with clients.
Because I ate a pre-dinner, so I can take much foods. Nevertheless I ate a two meals course dinner; an appetizer and a main course.
Hotate Mentai or scallops sushi. I fell in love with the flavour. RM 4.80.
Tempura ramen small. Average taste. I have tasted a better miso broth. But it was okay. Crispy tempuras, soft inside. Perfectly cooked prawn. RM11.80.
Milky green tea. As a fan of green teas, I was disappointed with the fact I longed for a denser green tea flavour like the ones at Nana's, Mid Valley. But well, I paid RM8.80 for this and it was worth it.
Overall, Ozen Zanmai needs to improve its flavour to be more 'Japanese'. I have already ate live squids, obviously I am expecting more from a Japanese restaurant.
