Deli Oasis Cafe

Hello everyone. This small cafe located just next to LRT Bangsar has always been the attraction to the office workers around Bangsar. With the kopitiam concept, Deli Oasis Cafe has different range of foods unlike a usual kopitiam.

This is the menu at Deli Oasis Cafe. We can see they serves two types of main cuisines; malay and western. Kinda the 'mamak' style without the 'mamak' food I can say. As a matter of fact I would have tried the set dishes if it was a lunch break but since it was a dinner and I do not take heavy dinner, I ate Kantonese Style Yee Mee and Seafood Pesto( my friend).

Kantonese Style Yee Mee

This Yee Mee basically has what it supposed to have. Extra point for the freshness of the tiger prawns, two of them. The portion was generous. Enough to satisfy a man's tummy. I could not trace the taste of MSG which can only mean they either add a very little amount of MSG or none; another extra point. Other than that just normal fishballs, egg etc.

Seafood Pesto

To me this seafood pesto was just average. Bottled pesto sauce, frozen dowry, a mussel, two FRESH tiger prawns, capsicums, grated parmesan and a garlic bread. I wished for the pesto sauce to be a homemade one. I realized that there was a decent imagination about the food but I pitied the execution. Ah, and the spaghetti wasn't cooked 'ala dente'.

me!

In brief, I didn't expect for this cafe to serve us high end foods from high quality ingredients. But the cafe was clean and the workers were friendly. Will I visit this cafe again? Probably no.
