Hello people! I am sorry because I can't post so frequently as I don't have the means to have good food everyday besides the ones I cooked at home of course! But lets not fret because I just came back from Amarin Heavenly Thai, Mid valley Megamall.

Because I forgot to take the most apparent feature of the restaurant.
Today I had quite a wholesome dinner. So lets jump!
For starter: Khai Jeaw Hoi Nang Rom (what??) Basically it is glass noodle with fish, squids, prawns and veggies. What I love about Thai cold salads is they play with your palate, your senses on your tongue. The acidity, the heat, the sweet and the salty all like a party in your mouth. This is one of the greatness of Thai food. RM 22.90.
(forgive me, it is not a good angle)
Here we have Yam Woon Sen Talay. As you can see it is basically an omellete. Or we call it 'telur dadar'. But what is good about this 'telur dadar' was it has so many oyster meat. Thus it gives you another sensation when eating 'telur dadar'. My 'telur dadar' will not be the same after this. :(
RM 20.90.
This is for me. Pad Thai Goong Ho Kai or just Pad Thai. THIS is the holy grail in Thai Cuisine. When I was in Bangkok, I found Pad Thai all over the places. Pad Thai is rice noodle with egg, beansprout, prawns, chilli flakes, ground nuts with tamarind sauce. Pad Thai is supposed to be sweet, salty and sour.I found it at the street foods stalls and also at a 5 stars restaurant. So I concluded that every levels of the society are into Pad Thai. It is a very good comparison with our very own Nasi Lemak. You can have a very good Nasi Lemak or not-so-good Nasi Lemak. Haha. So if you have the chance to be in Thailand, please eat this. RM 19.90.
Tom Yum Morfai
What is the FIRST Thai food in our mind? of course, Tom Yum!!! It is one of the most popular Asian dishes in the world. Perfect during rainy days. There are two main types of Tom Yum; red and white. This is red as it has chilli paste in it. Thus, more spicy. A good Tom Yum to me must not be thin(the soup) but not too thick either. You need to play with the amount of pastes, other ingredients. This recipe is easy to learn but hard to master. Similar to playing guitar. Because Thai cuisine plays with several tastes on your palates, then it can't afford to lose the balance. Everything mus be balance that is why it is so hard and this one is almost a spot on. RM 27.90.
This baby is Amarin Blended Coconut.
Arghh.... What's not to love about this one? Simple; young coconut, milk and ice (generally) but could really help you go down all the way with the heat and acidity in its foods. RM 13.90. Perfect if you partner this baby with
Pacific Tsunami Pina Colada.
Basically it is Pina Colada ice cream. Pina Colada is basically a drink that you should have when you visit some pretty beaches. Hahaha. Pineapple juice, coconut milk etc. This is perfect during hot season. RM 12.90.
Here is some of Amarin's interior look:

Amarin Heavenly Thai is under the same company which also runs Basil and some other Thai restaurants. They usually serve similar taste but please avoid from going there during peak hours like once I was at Basil, Bangsar Village I during 'buka puasa' and the foods simply not worth my pennies. It lacked of quality control because, yeah, too many people. Still not a valid excuse. But I will definitely pay a second visit.
