Artisan Coffee Bar, Bangsar Village II

Hello everyone! Just right after dinner today, my brother and I decided to inject some caffeine and we went to Artisan Coffee Bar located on the second floor of Bangsar Village II. To those who are familiar with Bangsar they know that this place is a food heaven. All that you can find in Bangsar from street food to high end fine dining; Artisan Coffee Bar is one of them.

The Coffee Philosophy

Arrays of cakes and desserts

The concept here at Artisan Coffee Bar is similar to that of any 'al fresco' bars that you can find only this is the indoor version. You get the confusion? LOL. Artisan Coffee Bar is more than just a normal coffee shop as they not only sells coffee and tea but desserts as well. It is not wrong to compare this shop with the Coffee Bean or Starbucks. I haven't tried the desserts because I was full but they looked promising though. The cakes are of course, goes with coffee. Perfect for tea-time. If you ask me about the price, I would say it is a little bit pricey.

Green tea latter for me(left), Caramel latte for my brother(right)

Both of the drinks cost us RM 11 for each (before tax). One cup is about more or less 300ml. But I must say that they tasted good. As I mentioned in my previous post, I love green teas and this one was almost a spot on. Not yet but almost. So... yeah, if you don't mind spending your money on something good, proceed.

The 'sweet' station

Another trait of Artisan Coffee Bar is they don't put the sweetness in your drinks but you need to do it yourself. To me this is a good thing. The customers may adjust the sugar level as they wish. As for me, I personally feel adding sugar into coffee or tea is a mockery thus I drank the tea as it is.

Coffee shops are getting not just more and more but also better and better. I tried PUPL by Papa Palheta at Jalan Riong 2, Bangsar once and I feel happy we are on the right track.
